ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT
Bring your artistic vision to life in the Art and Design programs at NHCC. Create and exhibit your work while you prepare yourself for a career in studio arts or the visual media component of advertising, publishing, or corporate communications.
Choose from the following degrees and certificate:
- Graphic Design AS can be used either as preparation for entry-level positions in advertising or related industries, or students can choose to transfer to a baccalaureate or professional degree program for graphic design, illustration, or computer graphics.
- Art Transfer Pathway AFA prepare you to transfer to a four-year institution and continue your studies in a baccalaureate art program.
- Web Graphic Design and Programming and e-Commerce Certificateteaches the basic principles of design, web programming, and e-commerce. Credits can be applied toward an AS degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or Business Computer Systems and Management.
