A DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE, FILM & TELEVISION MAINSTAGE VIRTUAL THEATER PRODUCTION
Directed by Guest Artist Irma Mayorga
NHCC | Spring 2021
ABOUT THE PRODUCTION: Loss and Found: a theatrical search for memories, testimonies, and reckonings about now…for the future will culminate as a virtual theater production offering essential storytelling in uncertain times. This original production will craft and stage an assemblage of community testimonials, interviews, and personal narratives – collectively created and performed by cast members – that strive to document, describe, reflect on, and raise up urgent portraits concerning the intertwined pandemics, crises, and lived experiences of the past year.
Loss and Found… is the inaugural theater production of NHCC’s “Stages of Equity” initiative, a program that seeks to expand and diversify the artistic voices and visions fostered at NHCC. This inaugural production will be led/directed by guest director/playwright/theater studies scholar, Dr. Irma Mayorga.
